Our Story
Burma Academy grew out of a simple observation: countless talented, motivated people across Myanmar and beyond were unable to access quality learning resources. Internet connectivity was unreliable. Fees were unaffordable. Content was rarely available in local languages.
We set out to change that. Our team built a platform that works even on 2G connections, keeps costs as low as possible (often free), and partners with local instructors who understand the communities they serve.
Today, Burma Academy offers video courses, live online classes, on-campus sessions, and hybrid programmes — so learners can choose whatever format fits their life. Every format is designed with accessibility in mind, because we know that the path to knowledge looks different for everyone.
